Beautiful Banksia 1

Description

The flower of Hooker’s Banksia (Banksia hookerani) is almost fluffy to look at. How beautiful. This specimen, although native to Western Australia, is growing at the National Botanic Garden, Canberra.

This photo is available printed on one of two carefully chosen papers:

1. agave paper – 70% agave/30%cotton. The rough, yet delicately defined surface texture gives the subject a sense of depth and a soft feel. It has excellent reproduction of colour and detail, deep black and optimum contrasts.
   This paper is age resistant.
2.  hemp paper. Hemp uses one of the oldest and most diverse natural fibres in the world. The paper is made of 60% hemp fibre.
Thanks to the bright white colour of the hemp fibres, no optical brighteners are required. Colours and details are brilliantly reproduced, the depth of the black truly stands out and contrasts are reproduced with stunning effect. The surface is very lightly textured.
Acid and lignin free. Age resistant.
   290g weight.

The image is a square format so this is a photo you can easily frame yourself. Having said that, a framer will have a much greater array of frames available, which will give an art piece that will match both your personal taste and existing decor exactly – and be one of a kind.
